Got an official answer from a reputable source and the first thing said was “yeah we shoulda defined that better I’ll clarify” but the intent is as long as none of the new hires from this point forward are furloughed, the provisions of reduced pay are suspended. Refreshing to get a clear, concise, comforting answer rather then be called a pot stirrer just because someone didn’t know the answer for sure or couldn’t articulate it well.
