Hiring is going to be substantial. We are 1,200 pilots short by the end of the year. There’s going to be another vacancy right after this one to clean up the 770 people who went back to widebody planes and allow the slots for new hires to be assigned. If not, they are all going to be 756 FOs in SFO, LAX and DCA since that’s where this bids vacancies are all. Plus they have to staff the 10 787s still coming this year and all the new guppy MAX planes. Should be an interesting year for vacancy bids.
