Anyone who is able to take a step back can see this quite clearly. Diversity is our strength as a nation, it’s also our Achilles heal... whether it’s internal or external or both these passions are definitely being stoked to have us constantly at each other’s throats.
Diversity isn’t our greatest strength as a nation, uniformity is. Or at least it was. Uniformity of people who value the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Uniformity in the recognition of a limited government restrained by the consent of the governed, whose citizens are neither owned nor owed.
The fact that this uniformity occurs on a political/philosophical level allows for diversity on a physical level. But diversity of races, religions, ethnicities, etc means nothing if the values of said people dont mesh on a foundational level.
