Diversity isn’t our greatest strength as a nation, uniformity is. Or at least it was. Uniformity of people who value the principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Uniformity in the recognition of a limited government restrained by the consent of the governed, whose citizens are neither owned nor owed.
The fact that this uniformity occurs on a political/philosophical level allows for diversity on a physical level. But diversity of races, religions, ethnicities, etc means nothing if the values of said people dont mesh on a foundational level.
It's all semantics.
China is a homogenous country 5x the size of the USA. While we're arguing about bathrooms, girls sports and recruiting policy, they will be pushing our ******* in on a global scale.
