I recall a simulator check out and a panel of Senior Airline Captains at the interview. Some HR person looked at the paperwork after the interview was over. That's how it should be done.
Notice how the FB forums that are involved in UAL are all shut down now. Provda has shutdown any pilot who discussed this topic on FB.
The FB moderators tell people to "call their union reps." Like, yeah, our snaggle tooth union reps are going to do what exactly?
Interesting. The company is going to finance this endeavor out of what money? Could it be our profit sharing? This Aviate program isn't going to be run for free. So, really, in the end, the pilots have to subsidize it anyway. Glad they asked us permission.
These candidates....They will sure be solid union members right? Nah. They gonna be beholding to the boss man for their job. It's a new kind of slavery. They got you by the balls before you even get hired. Management owns these guys and gals and they ain't even hired yet. ALPA hasn't said "boo" about all this. Interesting.............
