Spend your time thinking about what seat(s) you really want and why. People treat AE bidding like it's a failure for not getting an award. If you want XYZ 123 C, then bid for it with any qualifiers you deem relevant. We bid for trips every month without any concern for what others are doing, bid your AE the same way.
