I hope they don't. It would be huge for morale within the Aviate program if they pull a few people from the program for each class. Everyone at my regional is on pins and needles waiting for the next few people to get a class date. If that were to happen sooner than later it would be a big boost. I know people still applying elsewhere because they don't trust the Aviate program to actually work out as advertised.
That’s just not how things typically work. I’m sure that you get it being at a regional that has a seniority list.... Also, just because you are in AVIATE doesn’t mean that you shouldn't absolutely be trying to get hired at other “destination airlines” FIRST. Be your own advocate. If you can get on at another airline first that’s the bird in the hand for you, and United’s loss.
