there) but the trip foot prints fell exactly inside of the same days. I have some faith restored in our system. After reading this thread over again after putting the swap in I put my odds about 50/50 of it working.
As long as the footprint is the same the swap should always go through. 99% of the time when someone does not get a swap the footprint is either different usually because the trip ends with a leg carrying into a extra day or the trip is a Q trip and not technically in open time. Once in a blue moon a trip constructed by crew scheduling has a coding error or is built with something illegal in which case the computer won’t award it. This has happened to me and resulted in a nice paycheck.
