Totally. I heard a few super senior ER Captains in LAX down bid to A320 when they opened the catagory (pre-COVID + right before the NEO’s were scheduled to arrive) thinking they’d have their pick of Hawaii layovers. I’m wondering how the AUS and RDU layovers compare to HNL.
although a completely different setting, the RDU long layover is one of my favorites in the domestic system.
