You'll be just fine, dude. I have 5 tickets from long ago (last one was 11 years ago), and Delta didn't bat an eye at them. You're being paranoid.

However, I would try and fight this...as much as you financially can. You might be able to get deferred prosecution or something, and then it would never end up on your record. Though, if it ends up on your record, take responsibility for it in any interview.
