I have to agree with you. I’m not sure if I put on weight. I didn’t really mark my weight at the beginning of COVID lockdowns but I feel heavier for whatever reason. Still same pants and belt though but if I’d guess, I would have put on about 5 lbs in the last year. Seeing those number, I feel a LOT better.
I will say that COVID didn’t have a huge effect on my home life. We don’t eat out much anyway and we have home workout equipment.
When on a trip, I’ve always been a bit of a food packer anyway but I would use the hotel gym. During COVID, instead of the gym, if the weather was nice, I’d go for a long walk outside (I hate running) and if the weather wasn’t so nice, I do stairs in the hotel stairways. That’s really been the only change for me.
