Im sure there is a way to make it say what we want as far as out and in times. You can always send paper work out the window and have the FA leave the door closed till after the gate checked bags are brought to the door.
Flew one of the Delta 135s that had it activated. The captain I flew with called dispatch and asked him about it, and the dispatcher said he didn't know anything about it.
