Aaaaaaaaah? We'll see, but don't you think that if this was a real problem they would have tried to utilize CVG more? Instead they've been decreasing ops there for a while and moving some of them down to ATL. Just talk to all the Maddog crews who have to commute to ATL now.
& BTW, IMO CVG's a better airport. It's newer and it's not like stepping back into the day of Elvis.
The thing about mem is the airport is compact with good flow. That means short taxi times and little enroute delays. Also- when was the last time you deiced in mem? Things to think about. I am not waging any bets on what happens but I do see either MEM or CVG getting scaled back from a hub in a merger. Which one- who knows!?
