I’ve noticed the conversation usually goes:

”oh you flew in the military?”

yeah

”that’s cool”

yep

And that’s where it ends. There’s only two guys I flew with that took it further than that and only one of those guys spent four days telling me about how he’ll never get over Macho Grande.
