I said that first year pay at NK (considering training pay) was actually less than first year pay at Compass (including bonus) and I could see why Compass captains found difficulty taking the pay cut to make the jump. I STILL think first year pay ought to be higher. I never criticized second year pay or above - not after the contract was signed.

And certainly even first year NK was better than Compass pay once Compass went out of business.

But whatever you want to think, the principle still applies. Don’t hassle the ones who have learned, hassle the ones who haven’t.
