I carry one. Sometimes I have to use the controls on the TV to change the source. Lots of them have one “joystick” type button to change the source. Others you can access the menu from the remote, and use the volume for left/right and channel for up/down to navigate the menu. If that fails, unplug the HDMI being used for the cable input and plug in your device. Hope this helps!
