There was a nice bit of life perspective gained by filling out an app and seeing my life laid out in black and white. I worked incredibly hard prepping while flying a full schedule, I was very proud of success in my interview. I feel I benefited from the interview process. I personally think interviews are a best known way to try to maintain a culture and hire a good employee. I would prefer we keep the gateway as is. It’s also not unreasonable for us to want pilots we will fly with to go through a similar process we experienced to get here.

The company wanting to bypass ALPA, again, to get what they want is a bigger issue and putting regional v mainline is not the real battle. I hope that any regional pilots realize our ire is not truly aimed at them here.
