The "old" PR days goes away....the entire block of PB / X days all slide the right, and the "new" PR day is calculated based on the 9 hours free of duty from the end of the 2nd GS.

That is what example 3 in the sched alert link shows....GS#2 starts before the PR day from GS#1, everything slides right, and new PR end time is calculated based on the 9 hours after release of GS#2
