Before leaving I did retain copies of all my training paperwork (8710 for the oral and my simulator sessions which were all satisfactory).
New company only has to
make the attempt, doesn't have to be successful. One of my old companies shredded everyone's training records so they could avoid the expense during the bankruptcy. Another went out before it got started. I don't even have the phone number for them. I put down 888-888-8888 and the last known registered address for them. No one has ever questioned me on it.
