Funny. Many moons ago with a regional we used to stay at a "motel" in New England that was little more than a trailer park frequented by itinerant construction workers.

But it was actually popular with the crews because they provided unlimited waffles (with strawberries and whipped cream) in the lobby and also had an extensive VHS library to choose from (pre streaming video days).

And then there was KIPL literally wild animals used the hallways to go potty. Silver lining: 24-hour Dennys attached. The Denny's had a bar and small dance floor which was THE nightlife spot for the county on Fri/Sat nights. Best to avoid early shows there on Sat/Sun.
