Just a heads up, I've owned two of those metal cases. They were the same as the one depicted, both bought from eBay and shipped from somewhere over in Asia for around $30 total. Each has lasted about 1 year.

Instead of buying another one when the second one broke I bought a roll of duct tape and taped the %$#@ out of it. With proper taping it will probably last another 6 months to year. Others have had similar cases last for several years with issue, but they are of slightly different design.

That is the last cheap case I'll buy and I'm probably going to switch to the Purdy Neat split-grain case for $180. Although I'm having trouble deciding between that and the $300 Scott case. I know the Scott one will last, but I don't like the look of the brass locks.
