we were going to furlough. we came to an agreement to mitigate furloughs[. we had downgrades and furloughs announced. if i recall it was 100 pilots, quite a bit for our size. understaffed is true, but understaffed to the point of no furloughs, no.
they also knew if they furloughed some would not come back. Now we’re short staffed ... again. Plus not furloughing people gave recruiting another line to use.
Current status: short staffed & scheduling makes up new rules daily against our contract with the union doing nothing to stop it.
