I doubt 2,500 would go out the door on the same day. The payroll protection money caused that. As one company furloughs the other hires and trains. The time between the two would be more limited.
Has a single mainline pilot ever been flowed to a regional? The flow is as one way as a waterfall. It is useless and will never protect.
