I am not desperate for the LHS rapid progression, I need some good quality of life and a bit of respect and common sense, which is very hard to get by here in the Middle East.

There is no point to convert your type rating. You will get your initial type through the airline, the training program is essentially the same with or without the type.
Your hours will not convert for 121.436 (CA upgrade) purposes, but your experience on type will definitely make you a shoe in hire at one of the ACMI carriers.
