It's a person who jumpseated with me from HNL to MEM, lives in HNL, flies the MD-11, and commutes to MEM. We have frequent flights, and the first leg of the trip they were commuting to was back to HNL for a layover.
So yes, it appears to be quite doable.

Tony - no worries and completely understand. I'm a year out from retiring from the Coast Guard and am trying to do as much research/networking as possible to make the right decisions. Would love to pick their brain if possible.
