Either way, that is the most mind numbing drivel of an answer I've had in a long time. I spent a decade at regionals, I'm not saying forget how to be proactive, I'm saying imagine going to work and being able to turn it down to a 1 and the wheels don't fall off the bus.
I had a hard time getting on board with the original post saying (in essence) “keep it dumb.” Do your job and let others do theirs.
I understand what you’re saying. I’m a big believer of only doing your job. If guys did that at the regionals maybe the company would fix the things that need fixing. The guys that kept it at 1 at the regionals do a good job of keeping it at 1 at the majors the ones that didn't make things tough at the majors.
