Those guys were all eligible to upgrade but held out for a better domicile, to avoid reserve, or to get one more vacation bid in at their FO seniority. Then Covid hits and they find themselves stuck in the right seat for another 18 months. My bet is they find religion and the vast majority jump on the first upgrade opportunity they see.
only thing is that new found religion likely involves a 6 month seat lock in a base they were hoping to avoid. It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out.
