This isn’t progression for all, it’s “progression for us.” Pulling up the ladder behind us, leaving tomorrows’ pilots with 8 years on the contract, a permanent flow down provision, but absolutely no guaranteed and contractual career progression doesn’t sound like ALPA’s campaign. Especially since COVID hit.

”As we entered 2020, our preeminent goal was to achieve guaranteed and contractual career progression for the pilots of Endeavor Air. As the impact of COVID-19 continues to unfold, questions have been asked about the viability of the PFA campaign or whether we should continue to advocate for progression. The answer is unequivocally YES. This campaign is no longer just about Endeavor pilots securing careers at Delta, it is now about all of us progressing through this challenge together. I have continuously promoted this campaign as unifying and positive, something we need now in our industry more than ever. We want TSA and Compass pilots to progress to new jobs, we want Delta to progress back to profitability, we want aviation to progress toward normalcy and we want this crisis to progress to its end.
