Typically when a engine manufacturer wants you to make a switch from a existing power plant they throw in lots of sweeteners reducing costs to maintain a additional type including parts pools and worldwide support.
the 10 330s with GE engines are not the NEOs. They are 10 A330-300s we got new from airbus about 5 years ago. Last I heard we had 0 330-300s on order.
Also not sure how much overlap there is in parts, but the 330-900 and the 350 both have RR engines.
