Should I roll the dice and go to Commutair with the hopes of getting in and building time fast and getting into Aviate and hopefully United as they ramp up hiring even though the pay sucks and some people don't like it and the risk of 145's going away and the airline folding. Or should I go to SkyWest or Envoy where there's more security, nicer planes and better pay but potentially be an FO for 3+ years? Would it be a "rolling the dice"?
Everything in life involves risk one way or another. Coming to C5 is more upfront risk with a higher payout long term. Going to SW or Envoy is less risk now but will cost you years of top pay at a major. I came to C5 and it worked out for me. Others have made the same decision and it did not.
