These topics have already been covered all the way back to 2017 when I attended some of the retirement seminars.

Neither question has ever been answered definitively. The answer has always been "It would have to be negotiated."

Slinging the "12 Angry Men" argument again because you've got nothing better? Funny thing is, most people who try to use that as a slur have no idea what the story was about. As a quick reminder, it began with a jury considering the guilt or innocence of a defendant, and all but one of the jurors prepared to convict. Only one juror was unwilling to go with the gang, but instead carefully studied all the facts and considered it more important to be right than be popular. That made the others angry at first, as a real debate was inconvenient to them. They had other places to be, other things to do. Don't bother us with facts, let's go with the majority and just get this thing done.

Ultimately, the lone juror converts the others, one by one, with the use of logic and facts, until they all agreed that the man who they were so eager to send to the electric chair was actually innocent. Not a bad outcome, if you ask me.

I care because we shouldn't be wasting our resources or our time on something that will fail. Our MEC Representatives are fiduciaries of our dues, and they should not be aiming for a failed TA.

We have the performance and actions of our elected representatives to look at, and they love to characterize anyone who disagrees with them as 12 angry men. Your message betrays your loyalties.
