First off, if your MEC chooses to ratify this without a vote from all ~2000 of you. I would request a copy of their bank statements to see how much they were “bought” for.

Second, if you think it’s a coincidence that this many Delta pilots decided to descend onto your forums, it’s not. This is personal between Delta pilots and management as they’ve completely disregarded our contract in favor for what fits their needs. Just review any of the DALPA emails sent out lately.

Third, “scope lesson” the most important part of this deals with history. There once was a time when regionals didn’t exist. What happened was mainline pilots decided that it would be okay to allow management to create “B scale” regional airlines to handle short routes so the mainline pilot could be compensated at a higher level and management would be able to lease another Ferrari or two. Flash forward to today. The regional pilot, is now facing the choice “continue the existence of the B Scale regional airline?” Or tell management “NO! I do not want to contribute to the reduction of MAINLINE PILOT FLYING by allowing more RJs in the sky.”

I’ve said this once but some of you didn’t listen. This has absolutely nothing to do with you “Flowing” to Delta. This has everything to do with poor decisions made during “trying times” that lead to a severely undermanned operation when travel has rebounded way faster than they predicted. In other words, 35 rjs they desperately need airborne because 1800 senior pilots early retired and another ~1700 have been home for 10+months flying nothing but their lawnmowers around their yards because they couldn’t get furloughed due to “Cares”.

Literally the whole industry is watching what happens right now. Do you honestly think Delta can afford to shut you down when they are already sooooo far behind when it comes to staffing? NO! So demand that this goes to a vote and think about what implications there are for the future of this industry.
This is crazy. While I agree with all of your points, you’re implying that it’s up to the Endeavor pilot group to stick up for the Delta pilot group. They(edv pilots) have literally nothing to do with this and it’s not up to them to turn down a guaranteed job at mainline because mainline pilots are ****ed off. That’s pretty gd arrogant in my mind. Fight your own battles. You want them to try to force Delta managements hand because they “need” Endeavor? Wow. They can turn out the lights at that place whenever they want and you know it. Not to mention they’ll just go right down the list to Republic or Skywest, buy one of them and insert their name into LOA 9. Jesus dude.
