One thing to note, is RJ's operating at mainline gives the company access to the GTF long range RJ's, i.e. ERJE2, MRJ, etc. That revenue premium alone would cover any cost difference in pilot salaries.
I’ve said this time and time again. The E2-175 already has 4 extra seats at base config, perhaps more with a less sizable premium front end. Sell those extra seats combined with lower operating costs and you’ve got your difference somewhat baked in there.
