Depends on what they need, when you have a notable % without progression they’ll be asking for theirs, and the company will always be interested in some efficiency gains. Right now sure, but once you start getting 20+ out the door and 70-80 in each month that shifts the balance to people with no progression relatively soonish, especially as Reps flow and they get replaced by folks with no progression. It’ll create a two class pilot group which the MEC wanted to avoid, hence the progression for ALL thing. The issue with flow is it takes all the institutional knowledge that has built up and it’s gone in a generation or two. I’d guess the majority of the MEC could be gone within 2-3 years, by which point no-flow “newhires” will be a sizable block and interested to get theirs.
