I thought the same thing initially, and is probably what the company is counting on: use them, knowing it will be grieved, but by the time it’s settled the summer push is over…. “Problem solved”
But I think ALPA is also pushing this fast and hard into expedited arbitration per the PWA, maybe for this exact reason. This will be heard and decided before 1 Oct I believe.
