Uh, plenty of questions, the biggest is commuting. QOL will be terrible if he/she has to commute to a 9E base out of a AA hub.
If they live in a PSA base (CLT), then PSA is the obvious choice. PSA will have a flow, 9E will not. If you have some 121 training issues that embarrassingly long flow time will save you from being a career regional pilot at least.
If you commute, take what ever the pay rate is per hour and deduct it away from the extra expenses of commuting. Probably spend an extra $200-300 a month on food, and $300 on a crash pad. If I made $60 first first year pay and have to commute. Take 76 hour guarantee X 60 = 4,560 - (commuting expenses) 600ish = 3,960. Then divide it by 76 and you get around $52 net per hour with a terrible QOL.
