2) I feel it’s safe to safe a large majority of mainline guys would love for Endeavor guys/gals to flow up. We don’t get a say in who Mgmt hires and DL could have signed a standalone flow deal anytime they wanted to. We just don’t want it tied to scope.
3) we still have 717/220’s parked, yet Mgmt complains they need the lift...if they need the -900’s that bad, then put them in the mainline fleet...pay rates are already in the PWA, and I’m sure endeavor has more than a handful of qualified pilots who would love to make the jump to mainline to fly them.
4) I don’t have any resentment toward endeavor pilots...LOA9 and the 35 RJ’s are our battle...you guys look at the offer in front of you, compare the pros/cons, and vote what’s best for you.
Hope to see you at mainline in the near future.
The key here is VOTE - we are not being allowed to do this, which is very concerning to me. Our pilot group should be able to vote on something that locks our contract for 9 years as well as allows a future flow back. The union is pushing back with BS about great relations with the company and not to worry about it at all - how will that look 3 or 6 or 9 years down the road? A change in management? The reality I’m seeing is the guys making this decision will all be out of here in 6 months.
Delta’s management must be partying. They, in theory, solved their contract problem by replacing us with Compass, giving them back their 35 regional jets. And they got us to give up contract changes for 9 years. Double win for them! They better be serving champagne!
Back to the point - our union should allow us to VOTE.
