Why not? When I got hired in 2019 the plan was to hire 2500 more pilots. With this NEA, I could easily see us keeping all the 190’s for another (‘as long as they’re profitable’ years). At the very least, we keep half of them while speeding up deliveries of 220’s. As someone pointed out, we’re expected to start exceeding 2019 levels by the fall. I’m sure they plan to hire and train as many as they can.
Ever sit in a recurrent class where the CP comes in and shows you a slide of all the planes we are getting. The next day we defer most of them? No joke.
