I’d give even money that anyone getting placed on the 145 right now will get displaced off by the time a “typical” 24mo seatlock would be up anyway. They are staffing it to meet current demand, but the fleet is generally slated to shrink.
I agree the long term plan was to shrink the 145 fleet, but not sure how much more very soon. That would mean either shrinking Envoy even more or buying more 170s. And I do mean 170s, not 175s. With AAG selling the last six new ones to Republic and Skywest flying another 25, I don’t know how many more large RJs, if any they can add. There aren’t that many 170s out there and AAG just isn’t in the new plane buying mode.
