For what it's worth it was the new generation of pilots saying no to pay and quality of life like that that led to the regionals not being able to fill classes which forced them to increase pay and QOL.
Airlines should have to compete with each other to fill classes, that's what is best for all pilots.
Exactly, we won't gain anything if everyone keeps working for pennies. A great example is Breeze, I'll be amazed if they can actually staff that place with the current pay rates and requirements.
