If an individual 9E pilot prefers Spirit, FedEx, United, or (uggh) American or SWA, that's a legit choice if it works for them.
A merger with 9E would invoke ALPA merger policy. I posted that policy a few days ago. It’s highly unlikely that would be a staple. The arbitrator is required to consider status and longevity as two of the factors. Arbitration is always a crapshoot.
