There's no cost to anyone. If the flow continues, everyone on property at the time of the agreement will flow. If this goes on until the last person flows, it clears out the seniority list at a rate of 240 senior pilots a year. This means faster upgrades and better quality of life for the first person hired after the signing. Sure, there's some super senior guys who won't leave, but that's fine, the next person up will go.
If the flow is stopped due to arbitration or something else, then at least it cleared out X amount of senior pilots, while also opening the door to a future contractually guaranteed pathway to Delta. What are you crying about?
