Yes and over the years ALPA and all the mainlines allowed the goalposts to keep getting moved. It should have remained at 20 or 33 like it was 60 years ago. ALPA has allowed the commuter now regional to expand to be equal to or greater in size but unequal protection. If DAL wanted they could have just put all then Pinnacle pilots now Endeavor out on the street as NWA pilots keep their mainline job as they should. I believe DAL even gave an ultimatum take this contract or you will be on the street. Just think if DAL tried that with the NWA pilots. At least much of these arguments could have been avoided if all pilots would go through the same hiring processes as what ever the prominent carrier has the largest name displayed on the side of the aircraft. It seems one of the best things ALPA has done along with mainline management is pitting one pilot group against the other when it should only be between pilots and management.
