Default Introduction

Hello Everyone,

I started out in aviation as a flight instructor many years ago. Life throws you curve balls and I was in and out of instructing the last few decades. During my CFI refresher I would ask the airline pilots if now was a good time to fly. They would aleays respond “Not right now”. I stopped asking the question over the years, then they called me and asked if I was flying, I said no, and they said to check it out the shortage is real this time. That was two years ago. I decided to instruct for an academy and became a check instructor and MEI for them. Just went over 1500 hours and being military I decided during the slow down in flying from COVID, that I would use my GI Bill and get my ATP certificate. I did in an Airbus 320. Just accepted a CJO with SkyWest flying the CRJ and a Sep. class date.
