NPR is far from a reliable source. You and the article states that the VAERS numbers are skewed.
People having issues that are coincidental or not related to the vaccine.

Sounds a lot like the people who died from heart attacks, car wrecks, aneurysms, old age, cancer, etc……but really died from covid!!
