Not sure why you would hope for people leaving en mass from Jetblue. Just like before, those leaving will primarily have spent three years or less at Jetblue. All it will really do is make the reserve grid more red while they replace those pilots with new-hires. You might get a quick seniority bump if you’re new, but the effects are short lived. Once in a blue moon (no pun) a Captain will leave, but not enough to make a noticeable difference.

We’re also years away from CBA II, so there’s no real leverage gained by people leaving now. Our second CBA won’t come until the Legacies complete theirs, and well see above on how long it’ll probably take them.
Why would one not want a seniority bump? It’s the only way considering there are barely any retirements. Also, pilots leaving for the legacies may require the company to sweeten the deal in the next negotiations to retain pilots better.
