Cosmo,

The medical/dental/vision plans are about 250 a mos with a 500 deductible. The providers are BCBS or Cigna. The plans are better than what Delta has and about the same as SWA for a little more money. You can make any plan that fits your family and the price will adjust accordingly. Bottom line, not a bad plan.

Travel benefits begin for you and family, parents included, at day. Buddy passes come 6 mos later and you get more every 6mos. Flights can be full and a challenge to work with but paying 15.00 each way is still better than 200+ bucks if you have some flexibility. I can go from IAH to Paris tomorrow with no problems and all for 60 bucks roundtrip. Plus, it is good that our flights are full with paying passengers.
You can buy a ID90 ticket at a reduced rate on other airlines as well. Options abound if you are not pressed for a hard time.
I worked for Delta in the ealry 90s and it is still the same, you have to be a little flexible to travel standby. Still worth the cost savings and you can get the airline employee discount at a lot of hotels. Travel is cheaper than before for me and the family than in the Marine Corps.
Profit share is good but it is taxed at the bonus rate like any job. However, if you put it all in pretax 401K, it is a moot point.
I will be happy to answer any questions you have.

BTW...I will PM you tomorrow with the gouge.
