Just drawing a line in the sand and saying comply with the current agreement then we can talk, is an accomplishment. He tried and was constantly under attack by the appeasement faction of our association. Blaming him, vs an management team that has been use to getting what they want from us. We as a group, tend to think getting a deal, any deal is an accomplishment. Management successfully convinced the old guard they were partners in a business deal. It made them feel special, in the know. As has been said many times, were playing checkers and they're playing high level chess. Especially if there is an increase in hourly rates to the detriment of work rules. Our reroute, scope, trip construction is totally unsatisfactory. I'll add DH, and lack of crew meals too. Look sailing, we're not going to agree and neither will the 51%(sadly usually closer to 63%) who will vote for whatever gives an hourly rate increase. We have a few reps who truly want to make this not only a better place to work, don't mind if wokED likes them or not, but they are outnumbered now and probably always will be here. It is what it is. Guys I fly with ***** about the trips, lack of food, trip construction, etc , but vote for the reps that don't want to rock the boat.
