Sure, if 2-4 leg days, commuting on jumpseats, crash-pads while junior, enough days off between trips to get home, unpack, relax with family 2-4 days, then start planning your commute back to work again is your idea of better.

Just like all regionals are not the same, all ACMI's aren't either.

Likewise, as poorly as the AAG management team treats employees; it's still a better regional job than most. Still, get in, get your time, get out at the earliest opportunity. If you have no degree, wait to flow. Hiring is about to go nuts and there will be little reason to wait to flow unless you have to.

I think you'll see flow increase substantially soon, along with more bonuses, CBA improvements and higher pay. Even then, hiring will be harder than it was pre-covid. The LCC's are now begining to shop for the same candidates. Frontier has a direct entry program firming up with Embry Riddle. Where will the regionals be once the LCC's are really poaching the fresh ATP's?

It's a great time to be a pilot, at any airline.
