I have a similar story from the late 90s that ended like this...

"I got a can of that spray foam from Home Depot. The kind that fills cracks and then hardens...

And somehow it ended up filling his flight kit. The story ends with him chiseling his Jepp binders out of foam with a hotel pen after I called in sick and went home."
